The Secret Garden
I lately discovered a rather old book and fell in love with it: The secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett; first published in 1911. It is about a little girl that has to move to her Uncle in Yorkshire. He is living in a big house beside the moor with a thousand rooms and many gardens – and one is locked up and the key is buried. But there are more secrets to be revealed. Such a lovely story 🥰
This is the yarn, covering my garden colors. The colors are hanging ivy and light though the leaves; snowdrops, hyacinths, wood anemones, and old roses climbing in equally old apple treas. Knitted into socks, it will show small stripes.
This yarn will have it’s debut on the Kerst MolenMarkt (17th December).
