How it started

🇬🇧 Recently, I was asked to participate at the local “Molenmarkt”. The market is taking place from April to October, once a month. At the market local food that is produced in the neighborhood is sold. The last market of this year’s season will be a non-food market. Therefore, I was asked if I would like to offer some of my hand-dyed yarn. This question was the last push for me to start the business and to dye more yarn than for my personal use only.

I have to admit, that I am more than only slightly excited!

In the following posts I will show some of the coming colors for the Molenmarkt. One set for the market will be for sure “Mist over Heathland” that I showed already here.

🇩🇪 Vor kurzem wurde ich gebeten, am örtlichen “Molenmarkt” teilzunehmen. Der Markt findet von April bis Oktober einmal im Monat statt. Auf dem Markt werden lokale Lebensmittel verkauft, die in der Nachbarschaft produziert werden. Der letzte Markt der diesjährigen Saison wird ein Non-Food-Markt sein. Deshalb wurde ich gefragt, ob ich etwas von meinem handgefärbten Garn anbieten möchte. Diese Frage war der letzte Anstoß für mich, ein Geschäft zu eröffnen und mehr Garn zu färben als nur für den persönlichen Gebrauch.

Ich muss zugeben, dass ich mehr als nur ein bisschen aufgeregt bin!

In den folgenden Beiträgen werde ich einige der kommenden Farben für den Molenmarkt zeigen. Ein Set für den Markt wird sicherlich “Mist over Heathland” sein, das ich bereits hier gezeigt habe.
