First Frost – a Blue Fade Set

🇬🇧 The time has come: the dyeing of the first yarns for the Molenmarkt has begun. And my first three colors are “Quartz Crystal”, “Blue Lace Agate”, and “Blue Topas”. This series of gray to blue yarn with brown-orange speckles can be combined to build a fade set.

The base of the yarn is a butter-soft blend of Merino and Tencel. This yarn fingering weight is almost too good to just make socks out of it. It will be perfect for a shawl or scarf for sure.

🇩🇪 Es ist soweit: Das Färben der ersten Garne für den Molenmarkt hat begonnen. Und meine ersten drei Farben sind “Quartz Crystal”, “Blue Lace Achate” und “Blue Topas”. Diese Serie von grauem bis blauem Garn mit braun-orangen Sprenkeln kann zu einem Fadeset kombiniert werden.

Die Basis des Garns ist eine butterweiche Mischung aus Merino und Tencel. Dieses Garn ist fast zu gut, um nur Socken daraus zu machen. Es ist sicher perfekt für einen Schal oder ein Halstuch.
