Falling Leaves – an autumn fade set

“Falling Leaves”- an autumn fade set

🇬🇧 The following three colors are “Citrine”, “Milky Amber”, and “Golden Amber”. This series of yellow to brown yarn with brown-orange speckles can be combined to build a fade set. The colors are already inspired by the coming autumn days.

The base of the yarn is a butter-soft blend of Merino and Tencel. This yarn fingering weight is almost too good to just make socks out of it. It will be perfect for a shawl or scarf for sure.

The semi-solid colors “Apricot” and “Hazel” will complement the fading colors.

I used the lightest version “Citrine” to knit the Venezia Shawl designed by Joji Locatelli for the Joji Fall KAL 2021. I’ll write a separate blog post about the KAL, soon.

Yarn base: Rooted Merino (60% Merino, 40% Tencel)
Weight: Fingering
Colors: Citrine, Milky Amber, Golden Amber, Apricot, Hazel; part of a yellow -brown fade set

    Spiral Yarn Cozy

🇬🇧 The “Spiral Yarn Cozy” is like its brother the “Fingering Yarn Cozy”, which is freely available at Ravelry, a small knitted bag that holds a caked skein of yarn of ‘Fingering’ (sock) yarn so that it cannot unwind by itself. In this version the simple design of the free version is replaced by a…
