Join us for some knitting fun at the first MolenMarkt of the season 2024\, Saturday\, 4th of May. \nWe will bring a few new items with us! We have added “Woolly Merino” as a new raw yarn to our range. This DK yarn is a merino yarn which is woolen spun. This not super-wash-treated yarn is super airy and has a great texture. And not only is it great for knitting\, it is also suitable for crocheting. I made two bunnies (Lucy the hare from Kerry Lord) with that yarn. We will offer the yarn in four rather natural colors\, for now. \nIn addition\, I made a mini hare to demonstrate some crocheting with the mini skeins we offer. \nOf course\, I’ll take Lucy\, Lucy\, and mini Lucy to the first Molen Markt of this season on Saturday May 4th. The pattern for the cute bunny is from “The New Collection: Edward’s Menagerie Book” by Kerry Lord. Come and have a look\, and feel how lovely the plushies are!

There is also an ice sculptor\, music\, bagpipers\, Maria and Joseph\, storyteller\, wood burning stoves and Father Christmas. In 2022\, there were about 8\,000 visitors.
